Shirley Matteson creates stunning fine silver Texas jewelry, featuring a copyrighted design inspired by the Texas flag. Her collection includes Texas belt buckles, Texas Glory hat bands in black and brown, earrings, pendants, bolos, cuff links, and jewelry sets. Each piece is meticulously designed and copyrighted by Shirley herself, making them truly unique. Utilizing the Cloisonné technique, Shirley crafts her jewelry with her custom Texas flag design.

When asked about the inspiration behind her copyrighted Texas Glory design, Shirley recalled an unexpected moment of creativity:

"In the fall of 2018 I drew a design to be judged. It was for an award to a country western singer’s foundation. I had no idea what was wanted. I asked about what kind of design and was told ‘something Texas,’ as this person was a Texas boy.

All I could think of was the Texas flag. Being put on the spot and without any preparation, I scribbled out a quick sketch of the flag from memory."

Thus, her Texas Glory jewelry line was born from that spontaneous sketch. Shirley further developed the design into a range of fine jewelry and accessories suitable for both men and women.
