Fine Jewelry

Fine Jewelry designed and created by artist Shirley Matteson.

Shirley uses a technique called ‘Cloisonné,’ to create most of her fine jewelry. First, she bends tiny gold wires to form the shapes. Then, she fills in the shapes with colorful enamel. The end result is a truly unique piece of fine jewelry that everyone will love.

All of our fine jewelry comes in its own rosewood box. There is also a genuine pacific silvercloth pouch for tarnish-free storage and safe keeping. The necklaces also come with a 1mm or 2mm, 16- or 18-inch, Italian sterling silver (or gold) serpentine chain.

Necklaces

Shirley Matteson is best known for her necklaces and pendants. She has created iconic butterfly designs, along with medallions and Texas flag designs. Her starfish necklaces are some of her more creative designs, while her Silver Babies add a more unique and abstract touch to her jewelry line.

Lapel Decor (Lapel Pins with no pin!)

Shirley’s newest creations are lapel ‘pins’ that use powerful rare earth magnets instead of pins to attach gorgeous jewels to one’s lapel. She has created both wild horse designs and her ever-popular butterfly designs for this line of fine jewelry.

With four different, unique designs to choose from, Shirley’s line of earrings has something for everyone. From bright gold bubbles to bold waves of reds, her creativity shines brightly in these sure-to-stand-out earrings.
